OstroVit Omega 3 Ultra is a food supplement in which one softgel capsule contains 1000 mg of concentrated fish oil. Each capsule provides 330 mg of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 220 mg of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) – a total of 550 mg of these two omega-3 fatty acids. The fatty acids are in triglyceride form, the form of fat that occurs naturally in fish oil. What are omega-3 fatty acids?
