Kevin Levrone Shaaboom Pump is a pre-workout food supplement in powder form from the Black Line of the Kevin Levrone Signature Series. Mixed with water, the powder makes a fruit-flavoured drink. One serving (about 1 scoop, i.e. 8.75 g) provides 3000 mg citrulline malate, 1500 mg beta-alanine, 1500 mg creatine monohydrate, 1000 mg L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (A-AKG) and 200 mg caffeine. The manufacturer recommends two servings a day, i.e. 17.5 g of powder in total. The tub contains 385 g of powder, which is 44 servings. The product is intended for physically active adults. It is sweetened with acesulfame K, sucralose and steviol glycosides, so it contains sweeteners. Sportlab offers five flavours: Mango-Lemon, Fruit Massage, Citrus-Peach, Dragon Fruit and Exotic.

What does one serving contain?

The label gives the amounts both per serving (8.75 g) and per two servings, i.e. the daily intake (17.5 g). Citrulline malate is a compound of the amino acid L-citrulline and malic acid – 3000 mg of citrulline malate contains 2000 mg of citrulline. 1500 mg of creatine monohydrate contains 1320 mg of creatine. L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (A-AKG) is a compound of L-arginine and alpha-ketoglutaric acid; 1000 mg of it contains 700 mg of L-arginine. Each serving also provides 1500 mg of beta-alanine and 200 mg of anhydrous caffeine.

The daily intake (2 servings, 17.5 g) contains:

• citrulline malate 6000 mg (of which citrulline 4000 mg)
• beta-alanine 3000 mg
• creatine monohydrate 3000 mg (of which creatine 2640 mg)
• L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate 2000 mg (of which L-arginine 1400 mg)
• caffeine 400 mg

How to use?

Mix about 1 scoop (8.75 g) of powder with 150–200 ml of water. The manufacturer recommends 2 servings a day: one serving in the morning and one before your workout. One serving is about 1 scoop, i.e. 8.75 g. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose and remember that two servings contain a total of 400 mg of caffeine – according to the manufacturer's warning, caffeine from all sources combined must not exceed 400 mg per day, so take coffee, tea, energy drinks and other caffeinated products into account. The scoop included makes portioning easier but does not guarantee precise dosing, so scales are advisable for measuring the exact amount. Shake the tub well before use, as the powder may settle during transport. Keep the tub in a dry place at room temperature (15–25 °C), protected from light; do not freeze.

Who is it for?

Shaaboom Pump is intended for physically active adults who want a caffeinated drink before training. Because of the caffeine, the product is not recommended for children or pregnant women, and it must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not consume the product with alcohol. If you take medication, consult your doctor before using the product. Do not use it if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. If you are sensitive to caffeine, bear in mind that one serving contains 200 mg of caffeine.
