Applied Nutrition ABE Pump – caffeine-free pre-workout powder

Applied Nutrition ABE Pump is a food supplement in powder form made in the United Kingdom, to be mixed with cold water and drunk before training. The tub contains 500 g of powder, i.e. 40 scoops of 12.5 g. The daily dose stated on the label is up to two scoops (25 g), so the tub provides up to 20 such daily doses. The formula contains no caffeine or other stimulants, which makes it a good choice for those who want a pre-workout drink without caffeine or who train late in the evening. The powder is sweetened with sucralose and available in four flavours.

Composition and vitamins

Two scoops (25 g) provide 10 g of citrulline malate (2:1), 3 g of creatine monohydrate, 3 g of beta-alanine, 2 g of taurine and 1.5 g of arginine silicate inositol (Nitrosigine®). In addition, the daily dose contains 500 mg of choline bitartrate (VitaCholine®), providing 202 mg of choline, 300 mg of Himalayan pink salt, 250 mg of the botanical extract blend FitNox® (moringa leaf, pomegranate peel and black ginger root) and 35 mg of the extract blend AstraGin® (Astragalus membranaceus and Panax notoginseng root). As for vitamins, the daily dose provides 40 mg of niacin (250% NRV) and 100 µg of vitamin B12 (4000% NRV); even one scoop provides 125% of the reference value for niacin and 2000% for vitamin B12. How to use?

Shake the container before use. Mix 1–2 scoops (one scoop = 12.5 g) with cold water, allowing 250–500 ml of water per scoop, and drink 15–30 minutes before training. You can vary the amount of water to suit your taste. Do not take more than two scoops per day. The scoop gives an approximate amount – the manufacturer recommends kitchen scales for more accurate dosing.

Who is it for?

ABE Pump is intended for healthy adults aged 18 or over who train regularly and prefer a caffeine-free drink before training – for example those who exercise in the evening or already get caffeine from coffee during the day. Not suitable for children. Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have a medical condition or take medication, consult a doctor before use.
