Now Foods Calcium & Magnesium is a food supplement in softgels that combines two minerals – calcium and magnesium – with vitamin D3 and zinc. The recommended daily dose is 2 softgels, which provide 667 mg of calcium (83% of the nutrient reference value), 333 mg of magnesium (89%), 10 µg or 400 IU of vitamin D3 (200%) and 25 mg of zinc (250%). The bottle contains 120 softgels, or 60 daily doses, which with regular use last about two months. The minerals are mixed with rice bran oil and sealed in a soft gelatine capsule. The product is made by the US family-owned company NOW Foods, which has been producing food supplements since 1968.

How to use?

Take 2 softgels a day, preferably with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you use other food supplements containing calcium, magnesium, vitamin D or zinc at the same time (for example multivitamins), take their amounts into account too – especially zinc, as the daily dose of this product already provides 25 mg of zinc. At the recommended use, one bottle lasts 60 days.

Now Foods Calcium & Magnesium is suitable for adults who want to supplement their diet with calcium, magnesium, vitamin D and zinc – for example people who consume few dairy products, wholegrain products and nuts or spend little time in the sun. The product contains lecithin from soy and a bovine gelatine capsule shell, and vitamin D3 is obtained from lanolin, so it is not suitable for people allergic to soy, vegetarians or vegans. Ingredients and quality

In addition to the active ingredients, the softgels contain rice bran oil, a bovine gelatine capsule shell, glycerol as a humectant, calcium carbonate as an anti-caking agent, soy lecithin as an emulsifier and beeswax as a glazing agent. The quality system of the NOW Foods plant is certified to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). As the ingredients are natural, the colour of the softgels may vary slightly, which does not affect product quality. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place after opening.
