Now Foods Kid Vits is a vitamin and mineral food supplement for children in orange-flavoured chewable tablets. The product is intended for children aged 4 and over, and the recommended daily dose is two chewable tablets with food. Two tablets provide 12 vitamins and 5 minerals, including vitamins A, C, D and E, all B vitamins, iron, iodine and zinc. The bottle contains 120 chewable tablets, enough for 60 days. Two chewable tablets contain 17 nutrients, 15 of which are provided by the daily dose at a level of at least 30% of the nutrient reference value – for example vitamin D 200%, biotin 300% and vitamin B12 240%. Calcium (8%) and magnesium (5%) are present in smaller amounts. Vitamin A is provided entirely as beta-carotene and vitamin D as ergocalciferol. The nutrient reference values are set for adults.

How to use?

Give the child two chewable tablets a day with food, for example with breakfast. The tablet should be chewed thoroughly before swallowing. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If the child receives other products containing vitamins or minerals at the same time, take their amounts into account too – especially iron. Keep the bottle away from the child and give the tablets yourself. Close the bottle tightly after use and store it in a cool, dry place.

Who is it for?

The product is intended for children aged 4 and over whose everyday diet is to be supplemented with vitamins and minerals – for example picky eaters or during periods when the child's diet is more monotonous. The product is not suitable for children under 4. Consult a physician before use if the child is taking medication or has a medical condition. The product contains biotin, which may interfere with some blood test results, so tell the doctor before a blood test that the child is using this food supplement. As the product contains iron, the bottle must be kept out of reach of children.
