KOLLAGEEN + – drinkable collagen with vitamin C, coenzyme Q10, elastin and hyaluronic acid

Dr.OHHIRA® KOLLAGEEN + is a food supplement in the form of a liquid collagen complex with sweetener and naturally occurring sugars, containing vitamin C, coenzyme Q10, elastin and hyaluronic acid. One 20 ml ampoule provides 7250 mg hydrolysed fish collagen (types I, II and III), 500 mg hydrolysed collagen tripeptides, 250 mg vitamin C, 12.5 mg coenzyme Q10, 10 mg OM-X® fermented plant extract, 5 mg elastin and 5 mg hyaluronic acid. The pack contains 10 ampoules (200 ml in total), or one course. The product is made in Japan.

Vitamin C and collagen

One ampoule contains 250 mg vitamin C, which is 312.5% of the nutrient reference value. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones, cartilage, gums, teeth and blood vessels. Vitamin C also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to the normal function of the immune system.

Ingredients

The collagen and elastin are obtained from marine fish. The collagen is hydrolysed, that is, broken down into smaller parts, and the product also contains collagen tripeptides. Coenzyme Q10 is in the form of ubiquinol, and the hyaluronic acid has a purity of 93%. OM-X® is a Dr.OHHIRA® extract made by fermenting fruit, vegetables, mushrooms and seaweed for five years with lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria. The flavour comes from blueberry juice and blueberry flavourings, the sweetener is sucralose and the colour comes from class I caramel (E150a).

How to use?

Adults take one ampoule (20 ml) a day for the first 5 days, then take a two-day break and thereafter take one ampoule every third day. The product is taken in courses: one course is 10 ampoules, or one pack, and lasts 20 days. The manufacturer recommends 3–4 courses a year and taking the product preferably before going to sleep. To open the ampoule, twist the plastic cap clockwise until it comes off and consume the contents immediately. Rarely, a sediment may form at the bottom of the ampoule or the colour may change – this does not affect the quality; shake the ampoule before opening.

Who is it for?

KOLLAGEEN + is suitable for adults who want to supplement their diet with collagen, vitamin C, coenzyme Q10, elastin and hyaluronic acid. The product contains fish, so it is not suitable for people allergic to fish. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use. The product contains the sweetener sucralose.

The product is manufactured by BIOBANK CO. LTD., 388-1 Hirata, Okayama 700-0952, Japan. Keep the ampoules out of the reach of children and consume an opened ampoule immediately. According to the manufacturer, all plant ingredients are grown in Japan. The net quantity is 200 ml (10 × 20 ml).
