Diuretic Complex – plant extracts and vitamin B6

Amix Diuretic Complex is a food supplement containing ten plant extracts, tripotassium citrate and vitamin B6. The daily dose is 6 capsules, taken in two parts after the morning and mid-day meals. The daily dose provides 1000 mg dandelion root extract, 500 mg bearberry (uva-ursi) leaf extract, 500 mg guarana seed extract and smaller amounts of shatavari, stinging nettle, watermelon, green tea, parsley, silver birch and rose hip extracts. The pack contains 90 vegetable capsules, or 15 daily doses.

The product contains caffeine: the guarana extract provides 110 mg caffeine per daily dose. The capsule is made of plant-based hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and coloured with calcium carbonate.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. The daily dose contains 10 mg vitamin B6 (714% of the nutrient reference value) as pyridoxine hydrochloride. Do not use other food supplements containing vitamin B6 at the same time.

• Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) – root extract 4:1, 1000 mg.
• Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) – leaf extract (20% arbutin), 500 mg.
• Guarana (Paullinia cupana) – dried seed extract (22% caffeine), 500 mg.
• Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) – root extract 5:1, 300 mg.
• Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) – root extract 10:1, 300 mg.
• Watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris) – dried fruit pulp extract, 250 mg.
• Green tea (Camellia sinensis) – leaf extract (50% polyphenols, 30% catechins, 10% EGCG), 200 mg.
• Parsley (Petroselinum hortense) – leaf and stem extract 10:1, 100 mg.
• Silver birch (Betula pendula) – bark 10:1, 100 mg.
• Dog rose (Rosa canina) – fruit extract, 40 mg.

Caffeine and green tea extract

The daily dose contains 110 mg caffeine. Limit coffee, energy drinks and other caffeine-containing products while using this product, and do not take the capsules less than 4 hours before sleep.

The green tea extract provides 20 mg epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) per daily dose. Under EU rules, the daily intake of EGCG must not be 800 mg or more. Do not use other products containing green tea on the same day and do not take the product on an empty stomach – this is why the capsules are taken after meals.

Who is it for?

Amix Diuretic Complex is suitable for healthy adults who want to supplement their diet with plant extracts and vitamin B6 and who take the caffeine content into account. The product is not designed for children or persons under 18 and must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The manufacturer advises avoiding the product if you have high blood pressure, arrhythmias, glaucoma, seizures, an ulcer, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, diabetes or a thyroid, blood, liver or eating disorder. Consult a doctor or another healthcare practitioner before use.
