OstroVit Maca VEGE – 500 mg of maca root extract in one tablet

OstroVit Maca VEGE is a food supplement in tablet form containing maca root extract. One tablet is one serving and provides 500 mg of maca root extract. The package contains 90 tablets, i.e. 90 daily servings, which last three months with regular use. The tablets are easy to swallow and, according to the manufacturer, the product is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans, as it contains no ingredients of animal origin. The product is made by the Polish company OstroVit.

What is maca?

Maca is a root vegetable of the cabbage family, which makes it a relative of cabbage, radish and turnip. The plant grows in remote mountainous regions of Peru at altitudes of around 4,000–5,000 metres above sea level. It is well adapted to the harsh local climate, with strong winds and large temperature fluctuations. The tuber-like root of the plant is used as food and has long been eaten in the Andes both cooked and dried and ground. Today maca is known all over the world, and both the dried root and extracts made from it are also used in food supplements. OstroVit Maca VEGE tablets contain maca root extract. The Latin name of maca, Lepidium meyenii, is also given in the list of ingredients.

How to use?

Take one serving, i.e. 1 tablet, a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Swallow the tablet with water, for example with breakfast or another meal – this makes it easy to turn into a daily habit. One package lasts 90 days with the recommended use. If you use other products containing maca at the same time, take their amounts into account as well.
