Adidas Adjustable Chrome Dumbbell Set, 5kg

Adidas Adjustable Chrome Dumbbell – weight from 1 to 5 kg

The Adidas Adjustable Chrome Dumbbell is an adjustable dumbbell made of chrome-coated steel that lets you train with several different weights using just one piece of equipment. The set includes a 0.5 kg steel bar, eight 0.5 kg plates and two 0.25 kg screw collars. By combining these parts you can set the weight of the dumbbell between 1 and 5 kg. With all plates on the bar, the dumbbell weighs 5 kg, while the bar with the collars and no plates weighs 1 kg. The adjustable dumbbell is a flexible alternative to standard fixed-weight dumbbells: you do not need to keep several dumbbells of different weights at home, because you can match the weight both to the exercise and to your fitness level.

Chrome-coated steel and knurled handle

Adidas makes the dumbbell from chrome-coated steel for greater durability. The handle of the bar has laser-etched knurling, a textured surface that provides a firmer grip and helps you keep hold of the dumbbell during your workout. The plates are fastened to the bar with screw collars, so changing the weight is quick and easy.

How to use?

To change the weight, unscrew the collars from the ends of the bar, add or remove the required number of 0.5 kg plates and fasten the plates again with the screw collars – then you are ready to train. The dumbbell suits a wide range of weighted exercises, both isolation and compound movements. When an exercise starts to feel comfortable, you can gradually increase the weight and make your workout more challenging step by step. Before starting an exercise, make sure the collars are screwed on tightly.
