Optimum Nutrition Opti-Women – multivitamin for active women

Opti-Women is a food supplement from Optimum Nutrition with vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts, formulated to complement the everyday diet of women with an active lifestyle. The daily dose of two capsules provides 13 vitamins and 9 minerals, plus five speciality ingredients: alpha lipoic acid, garlic extract, grape seed extract, citrus bioflavonoids and lutein. The capsules are made of gelatine. The pack contains 120 capsules, which is enough for 60 days. One container gives you two months of vitamins and minerals without having to combine several different products every day.

Vitamins and minerals

Two capsules provide 14 mg of iron (100% NRV) and 400 µg of folic acid (200% NRV) – nutrients that many women pay attention to in their diet. The daily dose is also rich in B vitamins: thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamins B6 and B12, biotin and pantothenic acid. The formula further contains vitamins A, C, D, E and K, calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, selenium, chromium, molybdenum and iodine.

How to use?

Take two capsules a day with food, for example with breakfast or lunch, and swallow them with a glass of water. Linking the capsules to a regular meal makes them easier to remember every day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you also use other food supplements or fortified foods containing vitamins or minerals, take their amounts into account. At the recommended use, one container of 120 capsules lasts 60 days.

Who is it for?

Opti-Women is suitable for adult women who want to supplement their everyday diet with vitamins and minerals – for example those whose days are filled with work, training and other commitments and whose diet is not always as varied as they would like. It also suits those who prefer one combined product to several separate containers. As the capsules are made of gelatine, the product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. Ingredients and quality

The minerals are provided in several forms: calcium as carbonate and citrate, magnesium as oxide, iron as ferrous fumarate, zinc as oxide, selenium as L-selenomethionine and chromium as picolinate. Vitamin E is provided as D-alpha-tocopheryl acid succinate, vitamin D as cholecalciferol (D3) and vitamin K as phylloquinone (K1). In addition to vitamins and minerals, the capsule contains plant-based ingredients – garlic and grape seed extracts and citrus bioflavonoids – as well as lutein and alpha lipoic acid. Microcrystalline cellulose is used as a bulking agent, and magnesium salts of fatty acids and silicon dioxide as anti-caking agents. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of young children.
