Gold Standard Pre-Workout is a powdered food supplement from Optimum Nutrition intended to be drunk before training. One serving (11 g, about one level scoop) contains 3.0 g of creatine (as 3.4 g of creatine monohydrate), 1.5 g of beta-alanine, 750 mg of citrulline, 375 mg of acetyl-L-carnitine, 250 mg of N-acetyl-L-tyrosine, 250 mg of PerforMelon® watermelon extract and 175 mg of natural caffeine. The blend also contains B vitamins, vitamin D and black pepper extract (5 mg of piperine). The pack holds 330 g of powder, i.e. 30 servings.

Composition

Creatine is a substance that the body produces itself and that is also obtained from food, mainly meat and fish. Gold Standard Pre-Workout provides 3 g of creatine per serving, which is the condition of use for the authorised creatine claim. Vitamin amounts per serving: thiamin 2.1 mg (187% NRV), niacin 17 mg (107%), vitamin B6 2.0 mg (140%), folic acid 208 µg (104%), vitamin B12 9.1 µg (363%), pantothenic acid 10 mg (167%) and vitamin D 5.1 µg (101%). A serving contains 175 mg of caffeine.

How to use?

Mix one serving (11 g, about 1 level scoop) with 350 ml of cold water and drink before training. The recommended amount is 1 serving a day. Because of the caffeine content, take into account caffeine from other sources during the day (coffee, energy drinks).
