CBUM, Essential Creatine Monohydrate 510g

CBUM Essential Creatine – pure unflavoured creatine monohydrate, 100 servings

CBUM Essential Creatine is an unflavoured powdered food supplement from the Raw Nutrition Essentials line whose only ingredient is creatine monohydrate. The manufacturer states "100% pure creatine monohydrate" on the pack, and the powder is micronised, meaning very finely milled. One scoop provides 5 g of creatine monohydrate and the jar holds 100 servings, so with daily use one jar lasts more than three months. No flavourings, sweeteners or colours have been added and, according to the manufacturer, no chemical preservatives either, so the powder can be mixed with water or your usual drink. The pack carries the Informed Sport mark.

Creatine

Creatine is a compound found naturally in the body, which people also obtain from food, mainly through meat and fish. Creatine monohydrate is the form most commonly used in food supplements. One 5-gram scoop of CBUM Essential Creatine provides 5 g of creatine monohydrate.

• Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise.

The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine. One serving (5 g of creatine monohydrate) provides approximately 4.4 g of creatine. The product is intended for adults performing high-intensity exercise.

How to use?

Mix one scoop (5 g) with about 240–350 ml (8–12 oz) of water and drink once a day. The manufacturer recommends using the product every day, including non-training days. On training days the serving can be taken 30–45 minutes before or after the workout, and on rest days, for example, in the morning or early afternoon. The unflavoured powder can also be mixed with juice, a protein shake or another drink. If you use other creatine-containing products at the same time, take their amounts into account too. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

As no flavourings have been added to the powder, it can also be added to other drinks without making them sweeter. According to the manufacturer, every batch is tested for potency, purity and quality, and the pack carries the Informed Sport mark. The manufacturer is updating its packaging design, so the jar may look different from the pictures. Store in a cool, dry place after opening. Manufacturer: Raw Nutrition (CBUM).
